I have always seen Missguided clothing but never personally shopped the site before. So I recently decided to do a mini haul from their petite line to see if it truly is petite sizing. I also ordered one top from their regular sized clothing line for comparison. The list of items I ordered are as follows:
1) Petite white striped cropped rugby top– size 0
2) Pink teddy v front hoodie– size 0 (not petite)
3) Petite cream slim leg joggers– size 0
4) Petite black joggers– size 0
5) Petite camel loopback off the shoulder jumpsuit– size 0
Both the crop tops were perfect, and I loved them as soon as I put them on. They were very cropped as pictured below. But I did notice that the sizing was not drastically different. The cropped rugby top was a 0 in petite and fit just as well as the cropped hoodie in a 0 in the regular sized line. This struck me as odd considering the petite line should definitely be smaller in comparison. So while I was a bit disappointed there wasn’t a drastic difference between a 0 petite and a 0 regular fit, there is the positive that if you are petite you can also order tops from their regular sized clothing range.
Afterwards, I tried on the pants and jumpsuit which left me completely disappointed. In the images online they all appear to be somewhat form fitting (and flattering), which is how I like my pants to fit; BUT, they were swimming on me. Not only were they extremely baggy, but they bunched up at the ankles with extra material. If I wanted pants that fit like this, I would most likely just order from any site with regular sizing.
I will definitely be keeping the two tops, but be returning the three bottom pieces that I purchased. I was disappointed because I don’t think that their petite line is vastly different from their regular sized clothing line. The one major benefit from Missguided’s site though is that there is always a sale; so you can definitely take your chances at ordering some new pieces to at least try if you are feeling adventurous.
