My Top 4 Favorite Book Series

I have always been an avid reader, ever since I was little. In first grade, I was already reading and enjoying chapter books. I have also particularly enjoyed fantasy books, and that has followed me into adulthood.

In the past few years I have stumbled across three of my favorite series that I have ever read (I am currently still reading one of the series).

1. A Court of Thorns and Roses Series

This was one of the first fantasy series I picked up again as an adult after a brief hiatus from reading. It completely made me fall back in love with books and was a series that I could not put down. I completed it in just a couple months a few summers ago, and I wish I could go back and reread it again for the first time. I can’t wait for the next book in the series to come out!

2. The Flesh and Fire Series

I loved this series by Jennifer L. Armentrout. I read this series at the same time as The Blood and Ash series as it is says to do on the author’s website. I preferred this series specifically because it stuck to the storyline and was engaging throughout all the novels. I was so sad when I finished this series, and knowing that no further books for it will come out is a bummer. Regardless, I highly recommend this series to anyone who loves fantasy books.

3. The Blood and Ash Series

This series was the longer series and Jennifer L. Armentrout has completed the next book in this series which comes out in just a couple of days. I really enjoyed this storyline and am looking forward to it continuing. The one thing I will make note of is that there are two books that I feel are not mandatory necessarily for the plot, and I wish that it had just stuck to the storyline the entire time rather than having a couple “filler books.” This was also a series I could not put down though and I was always ordering the next book before I finished the previous one so I could continue reading.

4. Throne of Glass Series

I know many people would not agree with me ranking Throne of Glass fourth, but I have it ranked in this position due to the fact that I am currently reading it. I don’t think it is fair to rank it higher than the other series which I have fully completed reading and can give an honest review on. I also personally did not enjoy the first few books of this series in terms of the writing style. As the books have progressed, the writing style has significantly gotten better and more enjoyable, but I still think the current ranking is fair with everything I have mentioned thus far.
