I have always been a huge proponent of ethical and clean beauty products with fresh and natural ingredients. I started using LUSH products when I was in middle school, back when you could only buy the products online in the United States (the company is an English brand). 1. Cosmetic Warrior
Cosmetic Warrior is a holy grail mask for anyone experiencing a trouble skin. Even as an adult, you can go through periods of time where you experience breakouts and acne. This mask is a gentle cleanser that also helps tightens pores with ingredients like honey, garlic and tea tree oil. Just don’t forget to keep this mask in the refrigerator!
2. Soft Coeur
This massage bar is heavenly! The honey and chocolate scent is delicious, and even tastes good too. Yes, it is safe to taste. It is made with cocoa butter, cocoa powder, and almond oil- your skin will be silky smooth and you’ll smell amazing after using it!
3. Let the Good Times Roll
This face and body cleanser is the most gentle and soft cleanser I have ever used. It’s made with maize flour, polenta, popcorn, corn oil and cinnamon- no it is not food, it is indeed a cleanser. Your skin will be so soft and clean after using this cleanser.
4. Whipstick
Whipstick is a dark chocolate and tangerine infused dessert for your lips. It makes your lips incredibly hydrated as well as look and smell great. Shea butter, beeswax, honey, oatmilke and almond oil create a perfect lip balm you’ll constantly be reaching for.
5. Sex Bomb
This is the perfect addition to a bath with your significant other. It contains jasmine, sage and ylang ylang which are powerful aphrodisiacs, as well as soy milk to soften up your bodies. Turn your bath into soft pink waters of romance with the Sex Bomb.
6. Buffy
This body butter is a two for one special- it is a moisturizing exfoliator. Yes, you read that right. Ground rice, almonds and beans are used to wash away dry skin while cocoa and shea butter moisturize your body. The only precaution: do not use around family or friends who have a nut allergy.
7. Cup O’ Coffee
Cup O’ Coffee is a face and body mask that everyone should know about. It has a delicious coffee and cocoa smell, and will wake you right up in the morning. It is an aggressive and abrasive cleanser, so you may not be able to use it often if you have sensitive skin like me.
8. Honey
This lip scrub smells so good you’ll want to eat it! It is made with honey, white chocolate, vanilla and jojoba oil. Honey will make your lips perfectly soft and smooth.
9. Whoosh
Whoosh is a vibrant, blue shower jelly that slips and slides in your hands. Not only is it fun to use, but it also smells amazing. With notes of rosemary and geranium, combined with lemon, lime and grapefruit, it will be quite the wake up call in the morning!
10. The Comforter
The comforter is a “pink and sweet” bubble bar. It has a fruity flavor and creates a bubbly pink bath tub for you to relax in. It smells sweet like candy, which may make you not want to ever get out.
